Marketing Specialist
Sharpe Engineering & Equipment is seeking a Marketing Specialist to support and accelerate growth by developing, executing, and optimizing strategic marketing initiatives across the food & beverage industry. This role plays a critical part in strengthening Sharpe’s brand presence, increasing market visibility, and supporting business development efforts across process, packaging, automation, and compliance solutions.
You’ll work closely with Technical Sales, Business Development, Engineering, and Leadership to translate Sharpe’s technical expertise into clear, compelling messaging across digital channels, campaigns, content, and events. Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Campaigns & Digital Strategy
- Plan, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns across digital, email, social media, and paid channels.
- Develop and manage content calendars aligned with brand, sales, and growth objectives.
- Oversee social media strategy, engagement, and performance tracking.
- Support website updates, SEO/SEM initiatives, and digital content improvements.
- Data Analysis & Market Insights
- Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance using marketing analytics tools.
- Conduct market and industry research to assess trends, customer behavior, and competitive positioning.
- Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations for leadership.
- Identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement, and lead conversion.
- Content Development & Brand Assets
- Create and manage high-quality marketing content including social media posts, blogs, presentations, trade show materials, case studies, and sales collateral.
- Maintain and update marketing assets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to develop graphics, videos, and promotional materials.
- Brand Position & Communications
- Create and manage high-quality marketing content including social media posts, blogs, presentations, trade show materials, case studies, and sales collateral.
- Maintain and update marketing assets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to develop graphics, videos, and promotional materials.
- Event & Tradeshow Support
- Support planning, preparation, and execution of trade shows, conferences, customer events, and industry meetings.
- Attend and represent Sharpe at events as needed.
- Manage timelines, promotional materials, lead capture, and post-event follow-up in coordination with Sales and Leadership.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Business Development and Technical Sales to support lead generation and customer acquisition.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure marketing initiatives align with Sharpe’s strategic growth priorities.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or campaign execution (B2B or industrial environment preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with experience tracking, interpreting, and reporting marketing metrics.
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, CRM/marketing automation platforms, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and social media management tools.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Ability to balance creativity with data-driven decision making.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 10%) for trade shows and events.
