Summary
Sharpe Engineering & Equipment is seeking a highly organized and people-focused HR & Administrative Coordinator to support both our human resources functions and day-to-day office operations. In this hybrid role, you’ll be responsible for HR essentials like recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee engagement—while also ensuring smooth administrative operations and managing basic digital tasks like posting to LinkedIn.

Duties & Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Lead full-cycle recruitment: posting, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes with a focus on engagement and retention.
- Administer benefits programs and maintain employee data in our HRIS (HCM/Paychex).
- Support the performance review process and track professional development.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Partner with managers to address employee relations matters confidentially and professionally.
- Champion employee engagement through surveys, recognition efforts, and team events.
- Collaborate across teams on workforce planning and organizational development.
Administrative Support
- Coordinate daily office operations, including supplies, mail handling, and facilities support.
- Provide calendar, travel, and scheduling assistance to leadership.
- Organize team meetings and support office-wide communications.
Digital Coordination (Social & Web)
- Manage company LinkedIn activity, including scheduling approved posts and responding to messages or comments.
- Post job openings and recruiting-related content across designated platforms.
- Note- This role focuses on digital execution – content is provided. However, if you are excited about creating content, we’re open to that too!
Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Time-to-fill open positions
- Voluntary turnover rate
- Performance review completion rate and timeliness
- Employee engagement survey participation rate
- LinkedIn posting consistency and engagement
Core Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in an HR or office administration role
- Skills & Tools:
- HRIS experience (Paychex preferred)
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Comfortable posting on LinkedIn and coordinating basic website updates through a developer
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Discretion and integrity when handling sensitive information
